Vowed Book #7 in the Vampire Journals eBook Morgan Rice
The ending of this book caught me off guard with what takes place with some of the main characters. Although I cant stop reading these books when I start them, Caitlins character annoys the heck out of me. For being such the "hero" she is very easily sidetracked by her emotions. She is stubborn and too quick to judge. I feel she could have been more strong minded instead of doubting everything. Its very frustrating. However, she still has not reached her father and there is very interesting turn in her realtionship with Scarlet. Both Sam and Polly finally find real love. Of course Kyle comes back into the plot to take revenge but you must read this one to see who comes out at the end!!Im reading these faster then they are coming out so they are kind of bluring together a bit for me since there is a time lapse, its hard to remember what plot belongs to what book. It took a few books for ther journey to begin...

Vowed Book #7 in the Vampire Journals eBook Morgan Rice Reviews
This is the first review I have done for any book that I have purchased. Morgan Rice is an amazing author. This series is the first series of books that I have read that I cant put down since reading the Twilight Saga. Morgan Rice takes you into a whole other realm of vampires. This series has so many emotional aspects of it. Morgan really pulls her readers into the story line. I have been extremely pleased with this series. I read Vowed in 2 days. I can't wait to read book #8 so I can see what is in store for Caitlin and the rest of the characters. 5 stars is the highest I am able to rate this book but I would give all of the books in this series 5 stars or more.
Ok, I love this book series but the last two books are seriously stretching my patience. It will always give you little "Hints" about what will happen in the future but it wont ever make any sense until you get three chapters after it happened! Also, I don't believe she made any progress in this book toward the main point in the whole series-finding her father. The beginning picked up directly where the last book left off with action but as soon as they were sent back in time, everything stopped. Again. They found the same people, again. They went through some serious emotional drama, with the same people, again. Then it finally got interesting with another attack where many deaths and other pretty vital stuff occured. My point is, this book is probably one of the more uneventful books in the bunch, but I can tell you nothing in the next or probably the book after that would make sense without reading it first. I think you should definantly read it though (I know this might sound a bit contradictory to the rest of this review). "Vowed" had some amazing key details in it that are necisarry to know and I thought it was pretty entertaining and it still had me hooked like all the others did. My problem is that I can't tell you what I loved about this book without giving away a lot of information and I dont want to ruin it for you.
The Vampire Journals series has an entertaining and enjoyable story line, but there are two major problems that significantly detract from the series. First, the editing (at least in the editions) is attrocious - dozens and dozens of gramatical, spelling and typographical mistakes in each book. Second, the author constantly contradicts previous books in the series and even within the same book. For example, Book 4 (Destined) takes place in Italy in 1790, but in book 5 (Desired), Rice refers to the events of Book 4 as having taken place in 1791. Rice also talks about Christian churches having been there for "thousands" of years in a book that takes place in 1599. Last I checked, Christianity didn't exist before Christ's crucifixtion, which didn't take place until ~AD 33. I'm sorry but, 1566 years is not "thousands" of years. The contradictions and editing problems seem to be getting worse the further into the series I get - I think Rice needs to spend a little more time on each book instead of publishing as fast as possible.
Always fun to read. Quick reading, interesting characters. Always a twist to the many characters. 📖📖📖📖📖
Am the last ones will be as good. 📖📖
The series is riveting, and carries the reader on the adventure of a lifetime as the heroine follows her destiny. It carries you along at a fast pace you are unable to break. Morgan Rice has a vivid imagination that uses parts of history to add fact to her fictitious writing. If you like fiction you will enjoy this book for this merit alone.
I thoroughly enjoyed the series, but was a little taken aback with references to religous aspects, artifacts and associations. It leads one to believe that the fight of good/evil is fought on many levels.
What I don't like about this series of books in the Vampire JOurnals is the spelling when these books were converted to . The spelling is atrocious and makes the reader work harder to interpret what Ms. Rice meant to say in her narrative when writing this book.
I was starting to wonder if searching for the keys would ever end! Things started to become repetitive same thing over and over. At one point I thought I was going to quit reading when I read for the millionth time that she looked and couldn't believe what she was seeing, or that she didn't know what people where asking for when they wanted her to use her necklace by this point we could all guess what was coming. Oh and the grammatical mistakes are unreal! Like no one ever proof read the work. Names are constantly being mixed up at one point Kendra was used instead of Caitlin there are missing words or wrong words. Quite frankly my 10 year old wouldn't make so many mistakes. I hope that it was the conversion from book to e book that the mistakes were made. If I paid for a hard copy and found that many mistakes I surely wouldn't continue to buy. These e books are even over priced in my opinion I paid less for way better quality and story line. But at last I am a romantic and I love the way Caitlin and Calebs relationships is portrayed. I love that Scarlet was introduced as their daughter definitely a spin in vampire romance novels. I'm honestly excited for the next books now that there is no more searching for the keys.
